EMERGENCY LICENSED PREMISE INSPECTION HEARING

TheLicensing Board for the City of Boston (the “Board”) is holding a virtual emergency licensed premise inspection hearing on Monday at 11:00a.m. All Licensees listed on this agenda were served written notice of the virtual emergency licensed premise inspection hearing at the time of the inspection conducted by the Boston Police Department.

Date of Incident: December 11, 2020

Incident Description: Licensee failing to adhere to mandatory COVID-19 guidelines by selling alcoholic beverages after 9:30p.m. in violation of M.G.L. ch. 138 s. 64 and Governor Charles Baker’s Executive Order.

2. Licensee Name: Cardona’s Inc.

DBA: Barney’s Grill 

Licensed Premise: 299 Havre Street

License Type: CV7AL

Date of Incident: December 11, 2020

Incident Description: Licensee failing to adhere to mandatory COVID-19 guidelines by allowing patrons to remain at the Licensed Premise after 10:00p.m. for on premise consumption of alcoholic beverages in violation of M.G.L. ch. 138 s. 64 and Governor Charles Baker’s Executive Order.

Failure of the Licensee to appear at the virtual emergency licensed premise inspection hearing will result in disciplinary action by the Board including, but not limited to, the suspension or revocation of any license issued by the Board. 

The Licensee has the right to legal assistance of counsel. 

This hearing will be held pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. ch. 30 s. 20, M.G.L. ch. 140 s. 22 and s. 30, the Board’s Rules and Regulations, and Governor Charles Baker’s executive order (the “Order”) issued March 22, 2020, temporarily modifying certain requirements of the Open Meeting Law (M.G.L. ch. 30A s. 20) due to the ongoing public health crisis due to Covid-19 (coronavirus).
