The Board of Election Commissioners meeting will be held on December 31 at 9 a.m. 

Location: Haymarket Room and the surrounding area, located on Level 2 of City Hall at City Hall Square in Boston.

    Recount of the Republican Party State Committee Woman Seat for the Second Suffolk Senate District from the March 3, 2020 Election

    Time and Date:

    • Wednesday, December 30, 2020 - 9 a.m., opening of the ballot packets, precinct by precinct, to segregate and block the ballots. This process will continue until all Republican ballots are segregated. (No ballots will be recounted during this process)

    • Thursday, December 31, 2020 - 9 a.m., recount of the votes cast at the March 3, 2020 election for the seat of Republican Party State Committee Woman for the Second Suffolk Senate District.

    The Election Commission will recess at the end of each evening if the recount does not become final at the conclusion of each day.
